This is great news for the earth quake hit country of Haiti. It was announced on July 21, 2010 that the IMF canceled Haiti's debt and outstanding liabilities of a whopping 268 million dollars.
According to Caribbean Net News the Washington-based Lending institution has approved a new program to support reconstruction and economic growth of the country.
